CHRISTMAS
CARDS
Last year local artist Geoff Butterworth kindly
agreed to paint a winter scene of Bank Street, Rawtenstall
for the Hospice to use as an exclusive Christmas card.
As part of Geoff’s research for this particular
painting he looked at old black and white photographs
of the area and using his artistic skills he adds colour
and snow to the roof tops, bringing the painting to
life
TThe original watercolour was sold
immediately. This spurred Geoff to produce one hundred
unframed
limited edition 8”x 10”prints, which
can be purchased unframed for only £50.00 or framed
for just £85.00.
Each of the prints has an individual pencil remarque which
makes each print completely unique. The prints are available
from Geoff directly on 01706 633095. Geoff has very generously
offered to donate £10.00 from each sale of unframed
print and £25.00 of each framed print to the Hospice.

named ‘Wintertime in Rossendale’
