CARER SUPPORT

Caring for family members /friends with a life limiting illness can be very difficult and isolating. Here at Rossendale Hospice we are fully aware of the vital role that family/friends provide whilst caring for a loved one and offer support to family/carers

Support is available by telephone or by appointment with a trained and experienced nurse. Family/carers are able to express their worries and/or concerns, in a safe and confidential manner. Help and advice is available and may include referral to other services/agencies i.e. welfare rights or just an opportunity to “off load” and share concerns.
